Trouble Shooting:

B1306 - 11: Left Rear Door Ajar Switch - Circuit Short to

Ground

START

Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the

switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification.

Is DTC B1306 – 11

logged by Routine?

Disconnect vehicle battery connection.

(Please follow the safety guidelines)

Check connection between BCM and Rear

Left door switch

Are connectors

loose?

Correct connector fault

(Terminals Bend)

1.Remove BCM Connector.

2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged

Is connector faulty?

STOP

1. Close all doors

2. Check continuity between BCM connector pin

[C4-17]

Harness side) with Ground

[C1-34/C1-47]

Continuity Found?

1. Remove Rear Left Door Switch mating connector

2.Perform visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged

Reconnect connectors firmly

Check if Rear Left door switch input[wiring harness

side] is shorted to ground

[C104-1].

Correct

Rear Left door switch side

1. Close and Open the Rear Left door

2. Check if Rear Left Door switch is operating?

Is Rear Left Door

switch is operating?

Reconnect all connectors firmly

NO

YES

Correct BCM side wiring harness

( Short to Ground)

Continuity Found?

YES

NO

NO

Connect battery and other connectors of BCM ECU, if disconnected.

BCM ECU Faulty

Replace BCM ECU

DTC’s confirmation:

After rectification, ensure the following points by using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer.
