B2253 -11: Turn Left Indicator Switch - circuit short to ground
START
Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and
operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test
routine specification.
Is DTC B2253-11
logged by Routine?
Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)
Check BCM and combi switch connectors for terminal backout
Are connectors
loose?
Correct connector fault
(Terminals Bend)
1.Remove BCM Connector.
2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent
or damaged etc.
Is connector
faulty?
STOP
1. Put combi switch in OFF state.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector pin
[C1-19]
( Harness side) with Ground
[C1-34/C1-47]
Continuity
Found?
Reconnect connectors firmly

Correct BCM side wiring harness
