7. Remove damper pulley and then bottom timing
cover along with idler.
8. Remove mounting screw of the bottom belt
cover. Take out the bottom belt cover.
9. Remove one specific mounting bolt of the oil
pump and tighten special tool bolt.
10.Install timing gear locking plate and tighten its
mounting fasteners.
NOTE
Rotate the crankshaft timing belt pulley with small
movements to allow insertion of the dowel pin
through the hole on the tool.
11.Loosen the mounting fasteners and lower
flywheel back plate. Insert flywheel locking tool.
12.Remove crankshaft timing gear locking tool.
NOTE
Crankshaft locking tool helps to identify correct
timing gear position.
