ii. POWER STEERING RESERVOIR ASSY :
Installation:
Mount the reservoir assembly in the mounting
plate of the vehicle, and tighten with
appropriate torque.
Tighten the hoses to the respective ports in
the reservoir.
Fill the recommended oil in the reservoir and
bleed the system to remove any entrapped
air.
Fill the recommended oil in the reservoir, till
the oil reaches the "MAX" marking in the
shell.
Close the cap and tighten it till the tightening
stopper position.
Maintenance Tips:
For cleaning the strainer, remove the
reservoir assembly from the vehicle and blow
air through the top opening of the shell,
Suction & return ports and ensure the dust
particles are removed completely from the
Strainer surface, before assembling the
reservoir, back on the vehicle.
Use only recommended oil in the system.
Ensure the mounting of hoses are properly
tightened, Cap is properly tightened, to avoid
oil leak.
Avoid keeping the Cap on the floor, which
may cause dust to get stick to the cap &
enter the reservoir.
CAUTION:
Do not try to clean the strainer in the
reservoir in the vehicle assembled condition,
as the dust particles may enter the system.
