Automated Manual Transmission

On-Off Solenoid Valves for Controlling The

Position Selection Actuator:

The control current ranges from 0 to 2.5 A

and is controlled directly by the control unit.

The electrical resistance from the winding is

5.1 ohm +/- 6% at 20°C.

Operation:

1. When the two solenoid valves are not op-

erated by the TCU, the spring positions

the selector in the 3/4 gear position.

2. When EV3 is operated, pressurised oil en-

ters the upper chamber of the selector,

which moves to the 1/2 gear position.

3. When EV4 is operated, pressurised oil en-

ters the lower chamber of the selector,

which moves in the 5/reverse gear posi-

tion.

Proportional Flow Rate Solenoid Valve:

It manages the clutch (EV0).It controls the oil

flow entering and leaving the clutch travel

actuator chamber (single effect). It has a

maximum flow rate of 10 l/min with a pres-

sure differential of 10 bar.

The control current ranges from 0 to 2A and

is controlled directly by the control unit. The

electrical resistance of the winding is 2.5ohm

+/-6% at 20

.

Operation:

1. If the current applied to the solenoid valve

is 1 A, the oil flow is kept closed and the

CSC clutch actuator maintains its position.

2. If the current applied to the solenoid valve

is lower than 1 A, the oil flow is discharged

and the CSC clutch actuator positions itself
