7. Keeping the clutch pedal pressed open the

bleeding valve (turn anti-clockwise) until the

fluid containing air escapes.

NOTE

Observe weather air bubbles are coming in the

container and let the fluid flow into the container.

8. After few seconds close the bleeding valve

(turn clockwise).

9. Release the clutch pedal slowly without jerk

and hold it at released position for minimum

2 seconds.

10. Repeat the steps 5 to 9 until fluid coming in

the container is free from air bubbles.

CAUTION

Fluid drained from the system should be

discarded.

11. After completion of bleeding operation

ensure that bleeding valve is turned to off

position.

12. Disconnect the bleeding pipe and reinstall

the dust cap.

C. CLUTCH FLUID DRAINING PROCEDURE

1. Remove the splash guard for access of

bleeding valve (hydraulic adapter) from the

vehicle.

2. Clean the external areas of the hydraulic

adapter and remove the dust cap from the

hydraulic adapter bleeding connection.

3. Connect the bleed pipe to the hydraulic

adapter bleeding connection.

4.

Place the other end of bleed pipe in a clean

container which should be at a lower level

than the slave cylinder and ensure that the

pipe is submerged in the clutch fluid.

NOTE

After

removing

the hose, plug the passage of

CMC and the hose with suitable caps to avoid

entry of any contaminants.

5.

Press and release the clutch pedal

repeatedly until the fluid stops coming out of

the bleeder valve.

CAUTION

Fluid drained from the system should be

discarded.

Care should be taken while actuating the

plunger that it should not be actuated beyond

its maximum extended length.

Do not reuse the concentric slave cylinder

and clutch master cylinder mounting bolts.

Bleed the system only after complete

installation of hydraulic system and assembly

of clutch and flywheel.

Any fallen and damaged parts should not be

reused.

Use of mineral oil in the vicinity of clutch

release system components should be

avoided.
