E. Injector Removal :
1. Relieve the fuel pressure. (For procedure
refer maintenance section in fuel system.)
2.
Remove plenum
(Wiper plenum) (Refer body
group for procedure.)
3. Remove the engine cover by pulling it
upwards firmly.
4. Loosen and remove the 3 fasteners and take
out the stuffer assembly with foam.
5. Disconnect the injector electrical connecters
6. Disconnect the injector back leak tube
(Overflow pipe
) and cover the injector side
opening with suitable caps.
7. Remove the HP pipes connecting injector to
common rail and cover the injector opening
with suitable caps.
NOTE
Once removed HP lines should not be
reused. Assemble the new HP Pipes at the
time of assembly.
8.
Loosen and remove the bolt
(1)
along with
washer and remove the injector claw
(2).
