A. Steering Reservoir :
1. Drain the power steering oil. (For procedure
refer oil replacement procedure.)
2. Loosen and remove the mounting bolt and
take out the sleeve/spacer, then remove
mounting bolts of the bracket holding the
reservoir with the BIW.
3. Remove the spring band clamp and
disconnect the suction line and the return line
from the reservoir end.
4. Take out the reservoir assembly.
NOTE:
Plug holes of both reservoir and lines to avoid
entrance of dirt and contamination.
FITMENT:
For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
B. Power Steering Pump :
REMOVAL:
1. Drain the power steering oil.
(For procedure
refer power steering oil replacement in this
section.)
2. Remove power steering pump belt.
(For
procedure refer Alternator Belt removal in
Engine section.)
3. Disconnect the hoses from the power steering
pump.
4. Lock the power steering pump pulley, using a
screw driver and loosen the pulley mounting
bolts.
5. Remove pulley mounting bolts along with
spring washer and remove the pulley
6. Loosen and remove mounting bolts along with
the washer and remove the power steering
pump.
FITMENT:
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
