B. Intermediate Shaft (Bottom Column) :
1. Remove the stone guard.
2. Remove the steering column lower cover.
(For procedure refer Body section.)
3. Disconnect the intermediate shaft from the top
column.
4. Loosen and remove three mounting bolts of
bellow.
5. Loosen and remove the steering column bolt
between Intermediate shaft and rack and
pinion assembly (RAP).
6. Pull out the I-shaft assembly from the cabin.
REFITMENT:
For assembly follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
C. Bottom Flange Coupling (Bottom UJ) :
1. Remove the stone guard.
2. Disconnect the bottom flange from the
intermediate shaft by removing the mounting
bolt.
3. Disconnect the bottom flange from the rack
and pinion assembly by removing the
mounting bolt and take out the bottom flange.
REFITMENT:
For assembly follow reverse procedure of
removal.
