Steering Wheel Removal: (Version with
Airbag):
NOTE:
For Vehicles with ESP, Steering Angle Sensor
(SAS) Calibration has to be done after Wheel
Alignment.
Park the car with front wheel in straight
ahead position. Apply parking brake and
place wheel chokes at rear wheels.
Disconnect Battery.
1. Insert & Push the screw driver from bottom
cover to disengage DAB snap at 6'o clock
side of steering wheel.
2. Rotate steering wheel in 90 degree clockwise
direction, insert and push screw driver from
bottom cover to disengage DAB snap.
3. Rotate steering wheel in 180 degree
anticlockwise direction, insert and push screw
driver from bottom cover to disengage DAB
snap.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors of air bag
inflator and horn from DAB after removal of
the plastic clamp provided for the inflator
connector.
5. Carefully take out DAB.
WARNING:
Before removing steering wheel make alignment
marks on the steering wheel and the shaft for
guiding during reinstallation
