V LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
DISMANTLING
1. Separate Ring Gear from Differential
case.
(Follow the same procedure as that of
standard
differential
case
dismantling
procedure)
2.
Remove roll pin and diff shaft from Differential
case.
(Follow the same procedure as that of
standard
differential
case
dismantling
procedure)
3. Assemble the adaptor plate
(Part No.
287058903508)
into the bottom side gear.
Apply small amount of grease to centering hole
of adaptor plate.
4. Assemble threaded adaptor
(Part No.
287058903508)
in top side gear Use small
screw driver to position in slot of threaded
adaptor.
5. Torque forcing screw of
(Part No.
287058903508)
until it becomes slightly tight.
6. Remove both pinion mate spherical washers.
Use shim stock of 0.76mm (0.030”) thick or
equivalent to push out spherical washer
7. Relieve Tension of the Belleville springs by
loosening the forcing screw.
