FRONT SUSPENSION

B. FRONT STRUT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

1. Position the vehicle on two post lift and

remove front wheels.

2. Remove the stone guard.

3. Support the lower wishbone using jack and

remove the ARB.

Roll Bar removal procedure.)

4. Loosen and remove the Strut assembly lower

mounting nut and remove the bolt of the

assembly which is on the lower wishbone

assembly.

5. Slightly lower the jack supporting the lower

wishbone to dislodge the strut from its

mounting bracket on the lower wishbone.

6. Loosen and remove the three mounting nuts

of the Strut assembly which are at the top

side.

WARNING

Do not remove the s

trut assembly

flange nut at

the centre, as it holds the coil spring in its place

on the shock absorber.

7. Now completely separate the strut from the

lower wishbone.

8. Lower and remove the Strut assembly along

with the coil spring.

ASSEMBLY

For assembly follow the reverse procedure of

removal.

NOTE

For tightening of front strut bolt on lower control

arm placed the vehicle in standing position on a

level floor on its tyre.
