NOTE:

Carefully place / reinstall the Spacer while

assembling Gearbox.

33. Remove the spiral pin from the Shifter dog

and remove the shifter dog of Reverse gear.

NOTE:

Proper support need to be provided to shifter dog

while removing the spiral pins. Discard the spiral

pins once used.

CAUTION:

Place the lock hex nut for avoiding the front

housing slippage from the gearbox.

34. Flip the gearbox mounting assembly such that

drive shaft end face is in upward direction.

35. Loosen and remove the gear case front cover

assembly along with the oil seal and remove

the cover gasket.

NOTE:

Ensure the Double Locking is done (engaging the

both 4

th

and 2

nd

gear) before starting the removal

of counter shaft bolt.
