27. PROCEDURE FOR FIXING DOOR GLASS
WEATHER STRIP AT ENDS (BOTTOM OF
STYLING STRIP)
l
Clean Weather strip ends with cleaner Terostat-
8550.
l
Apply a thin coat of 3M adhesive promoter primer
K-500 by brush.
l
Allow to dry the primer for 3 minutes.
l
Meanwhile clean the painted surface with
Terostat-8550.
l
After 3 minutes apply 3M tape 4211 on edge of
weather strip. (Two row of strips of tape to be
applied on ends)
l
Remove the red papers from the tapes and press
the weather strip on the painted surface for one
minute.
l
Put a removal adhesive tape on weather strip
edges for holding it in position for some time.
l
Do not disturb the weather strip for some time.
28. PROCEDURE FOR FIXING HAND BRAKE
CONSOLEGARNISH
l
Adhesive used is Vamloc TL-472M.
l
Put the extension nozzle (provided with the pack)
on the bottle.
l
Apply thin layer of adhesive on the grooves
uniformly. Do not use excessive adhesive on the
grooves, it will reduce adhesive strength.
l
Fix the garnish in the console slot and press the
garnish long side towards the slot walls for one
minute.
l
Do not disturb the garnish for some time.
