C. Fuel Tank :
Removal :
1. Place the vehicle in a 2 post lift.
2. Disconnect the electrical connections of the
in-tank pump and the fuel lines.
3. Raise the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the fuel filler hose (1) and
breather hose (2).
5. Remove elbow and delivery line connection.
6. Support the fuel tank from below.
7. Remove the mounting bolts and lower the
tank carefully.
INSPECTION
Check all hoses and pipes connected to
fuel tank for leaks, loose connections,
deterioration or damage. Replace if
necessary.
Check fuel pump and fuel level gauge
gaskets for leaks, cracks etc. Replace if
necessary.
Visually inspect fuel tank for leaks and
damage. Replace if necessary.
Fitment :
Follow the reverse order of removal for
fitment.
