Install alternator mounting bracket.

Install cam phase sensor, Ensure correct distance

between cam phase sensor and the phase pin on

inlet cam shaft as specified. Fig. 168

Install dip stick outer on the block.

Tighten front mounting bolt of fuel rail along with

the bracket of the dip stick outer.

Insert dip stick.

Fit the by-pass pipe & 'T' connection tube from

cylinder head to water pump inlet, elbow & oil cooler.

Fit the hose from cylinder block nipple to oil cooler

inlet. Fig 169

Install exhaust manifold along with its gaskets.

Tighten nuts to specified torque. Fig. 170

Fit exhaust gas recirculation pipe along with its heat

shield. Fig. 171
