Fit the snap ring on the shifter sleeve.

Place the outer synchro cone, intermediate synchro
cone and inner synchro cone on the shifter sleeve in
the opposite direction of the previous synchro cones.
Insert the needle roller cage.
Slide the 2nd speed gear assembly on the engaging
gear and shifter sleeve. Ref Fig. 81
Locate 3 mm Dia. locking ball at seat on main shaft
with help of grease. Slide spacer, aligning notch with
the locking ball. Ensure that oil pocket over the spacer
is facing upwards i.e. towards 3rd gear. Ref Fig. 82
