A. Interior courtesy lighting - cabin all rows:
Each of the three roof mounted interior
courtesy lights is fitted with a three-way switch.
Each switch has ON, OFF and DOOR positions. In
the ON or OFF position, the lamp is directly
controlled by the switch and BCM control is not
required. In ON or OFF position, no lamp dimming
is used.
In the DOOR position, the lamp operation
is controlled directly by the BCM.Interior courtesy
lighting is also linked to Central Locking operation.
If the user has successfully locked the
vehicle by remote with two flasher feedback then
all three roof lamp will turn off with dimming effect.
If the user unlocks the vehicle by remote
with single flasher feedback then the all three roof
lamps will turn on with theatre dimming effect and
activated for 30 seconds if closed are closed
condition.
Vehicle Power States – OFF, ACCESSORY.
When any of the passenger doors or
tailgate is opened, the courtesy lamps are
illuminated using slow brightening of the lamps.
The lamps should be fully bright within 3 seconds
of any door being open. The lamps will remain at
full brightness while any passenger door is open.
Once all doors are closed, the lamps will remain on
for 30 seconds, before dimming to off over a 3
second time period.
If any passenger door or tailgate is opened
again during the 30 second delay period, the timer
is inhibited until all doors are again closed. If door
is not closed then BCM switch will OFF the roof
lamp after 10 minutes.
When Vehicle Power State changes from
IGNITION or START to OFF or ACCESSORY, the
interior lamps should remain off while the Key In
switch is high (
Key is still inserted into the ignition
barrel
.) Once the key is removed from the ignition,
the lamps should brighten to on. This behavior is
ignored if a door is opened.
Vehicle Power States – IGNITION ON, CRANK
When changing from Vehicle Power States
OFF or ACCESSORY to IGNITION, START, all
doors are closed and the courtesy lamps are on,
the delay time is cancelled and the lamps should
begin to dim to off over a 3 second period.
If any door or tailgate is open, the courtesy
lamp should remain on without any time delay.
Once the door is closed the lamps should
immediately dim to off.
If any door or tailgate is opened and the
courtesy lamps are off, the courtesy lamps should
brighten to full brightness, remain on while a door
is open, then dim immediately to off when the door
is closed.
B. Ignition Barrel Illumination:
Ignition Barrel Illumination is active in
Vehicle Power State OFF.
The ignition barrel is surrounded by an
illuminating ring to aid the driver in locating the
ignition barrel.
Unlock the vehicle by remote/key and open
driver door. Key hole illumination is ON for 60
seconds if ignition is not switch ON. After 60
seconds time out if driver door open to closed
then again key hole illumination is ON for 60
seconds if ignition is not ON.
Unlock by vehicle by remote/key and open
driver door. Key hole illumination is ON for 60
seconds, if user try to lock the vehicle by pop
up knob/Remote
then reverse cycling is
happen and key hole illumination should not
switched OFF by sensing the lock/unlock
signal of actuator it will complete the 60
seconds time until BCM sense the ignition ON
input.
NOTE:
During reverse cycling and slam
locking condition if vehicle is not successfully
locked the key hole illumination should not
switched OFF.
Key hole illumination timer is reset to 60
seconds when the key is inserted. And
Switched with dimming if ignition is ON.
Key Hole illumination is not switched OFF at
key IN position.
Successfully locked the vehicle by remote with
flasher feedback is switched OFF the Key hole
illumination.
If the driver’s door is open for longer than 60
seconds and the ignition barrel illumination has
been switched off by the BCM, the ignition
barrel illumination should turn on again if the
driver’s door changes from open to closed.
All ignition barrel illumination should
brighten from off to on within 2 seconds, and dim
from on to off within 2 seconds.
