SUSPENSION SYSTEM

NOTE:

(a) Ensure that the coil spring end is seating

securely on the spring seat at the correct place. If

not, noise will be heard.

Installation:

1. Install coil spring using coil spring compressor .

(b) Ensure that closer pitched coil to be

assembled at bottom side.

2. Mount wheel(s) and tighten wheel bolts to specified

torque.

TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR WHEEL BOLTS = 8 - 8.3

NOTE :

Components while removal and installation process

Removal

1. Remove wheel(s) (Refer wheel removal procedure/

Wheels and Tires group

2. Remove coil spring (03) (Refer coil spring removal

procedure)

3. Remove spring upper seat (04)

4. Remove bump stopper (02)

Inspection:

1. Inspect both components for crack, deformation

or damage. Replace if found defective.

Installation:

1. Install bump stopper (02) to the cradle/body.

NOTE:

Before installing, apply soap water on it.

2. Install spring upper seat (04)

3. Install coil spring (03) (Refer coil spring installation

procedure)

4. Mount wheel(s) and tighten wheel bolts to specified

torque.

TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR WHEEL BOLTS = 8 - 8.3
