ECU – ON VEHICLE REMOVAL, INSPECTION
& REFITMENT PROCEDURE
Removal Procedure :
•
Remove negative terminal of battery
Precaution :
•
Ensure that the removed terminal is away from
the battery negative post.
•
Pull out the lock of the ECU coupler.
•
Remove the earthing terminal of ECU.
•
Remove the mounting screws of the ECU .
•
Take out the ECU.
Precaution :
•
ECU needs to be handled with care and kept in a
secure place.
Inspection :
•
Check if all the pin holders are in proper position
and shape.
Fitment Procedure
•
Place ECU in proper position.
•
Tighten the mounting screws of the ECU.
•
Connect the Earth connection of the ECU.
•
Connect the coupler of the ECU.
Precaution :
1. Ensure proper alignment of the ECU and harness
coupler.
2. Pull the coupler to check proper fitment.
•
Connect the battery negative terminal.
Precaution :
Please ensure proper tightening of positive and
negative terminals
