10. OIL TANK REMOVAL AND REFITMENT

ON BENCH:-

CAUTION

Ensure there is ‘NO PRESSURE’ in the

hydraulic circuit.

Removal:

1. Unscrew the ‘Oil Tank Cap’ and empty the

hydraulic oil from the ‘Oil Tank’ in a canister.

2. Unscrew and remove the three screws M6x15

fixing ‘Oil Tank’ on ‘Power Unit Base Plate’

body.

3. Unscrew and remove the other screws M6x20

located under the ‘Power Unit Base Plate’

body. With the Hydraulic System upright to

avoid oil draining from e ‘Power Unit Base

Plate’, remove the ‘Oil Tank’ pulling by hand

in vertical direction.

4. Remove the ‘Oil Tank’ O-ring that normally

remains inside the ‘Power Unit Base Plate’

seat, and assemble it in the original position

on the ‘Oil Tank’, if the tank is reused.

Installation:

1. Insert the ‘Oil Tank’ outlet port inside the

‘Power Unit Base Plate’ inlet port by moving

it vertically towards the mating surface.

2. When the ‘Oil Tank’ O-ring comes in contact

with the ‘Power Unit Base Plate’ seat, push it

slowly with appropriate load, applied by

operator’s hand, to complete the assembly.

3. Screw the ‘New Screw M6x20’ for fixing ‘Oil

Tank’ under ‘Power Unit Base Plate’ body at

the right torque 10 ± 1 Nm.
