BRAKE SYSTEM

INSPECTION OF DISMANTLED PARTS :

1. Inspect wheel cylinder bore, it should be free from

any wear, ridge, scratch or any other marks, if the

cylinder bore is having any mark, then replace

Wheel cylinder assembly.

2. In the same way inspect wheel cylinder piston, it

should be free from any wear, scratch or any other

marks, if, it is free from any marks, then only, this

wheel cylinder can be rebuilt with Minor Kit (1),

otherwise this wheel cylinder can be rebuilt with

Major kit (5).

ASSEMBLY OF WHEEL CYLINDER :

1. If, the wheel cylinder is rebuilt with Minor kit (1),

lubricate the new seals, pistons with fresh brake

fluid and also lubricate the special tool shown in

figure.

2. Mount piston on the special tool, slide the seal

over the tool, by orienting the seal in right direction,

i.e. smaller dia of seal out side and bigger dia of

seal on inner side of piston.
