BRAKE SYSTEM
VACUUM BRAKE BOOSTER
Removal
1. Remove vacuum hose from the brake booster.
2. Remove TMC assembly. (Refer TMC removal
procedure)
3. Disconnect push rod clevis from brake pedal.
4. Remove the mounting nuts and take out brake
booster.
Installation
1. Mount the brake booster on firewall and tighten
mounting nuts to specified torque.
TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR BRAKE BOOSTER NUTS
= 1.8 - 2.3 Kg-m
2. Connect the booster push rod clevis to brake pedal.
3. Install TMC assembly. (Refer TMC assembly
installation procedure)
4. Connect vacuum hose to the booster.
5. Fill reservoir with fresh brake fluid, check brake
pedal play (refer pedal play inspection) and perform
bleeding operation (Refer bleeding of hydraulic
system)
6. After installation check brake pedal height ( Refer
Brake pedal free height adjustment procedure)
7. Perform brake test.
