Refitment Procedure:
•
Fit the oil strainer on water & oil pump housing by
tightening two hexagonal mounting bolts as shown
in fig.
•
Clean the liquid gasket surface on oil &water pump
housing using knife type tool.
•
Clean the liquid gasket surface on engine block
using knife type tool.
CAUTION
Ensure that the liquid gasket surface on water &
oil pump housing and Engine block is completely
cleaned. Otherwise it will cause serious leakage
and or water contamination in oil or vice versa which
will cause serious engine damage like engine
seizure.
•
Clean the liquid gasket on bottom surface of engine
block using knife type tool.
•
Apply
SEALANT LOCTITE 5182
red colour on wa-
ter and oil pump assembly gasket area to ensure
leak proof joint.
CAUTION
Gasket eliminator anaerobic product cures in the
absence of air.
Clean parts for best results.
Apply continous bead to one surface. Assemble
parts as normal.
Any excess can be wiped away with a cloth.
Store bottle upright at room temperature in a cool,
dry place away from direct sunlight.
Air space is required to keep contents in the bottle
in liquid state.
