REMOVAL& REFITMENT OFWASHER TANK

REMOVAL

1. Remove front bumper (Refer “REMOVAL &

REFITMENT OF FRONT BUMPER” from Body

section)

2. Disconnect the windscreen washer tube from

washer bottle.

3. Disconnect electrical connector of front windscreen

washer pump

4. Remove two mounting bolts securing washer tank

to the body and take out washer tank.

INSPECTION

1. Connect the battery positive and negative

terminals to washer motor positive and negative

terminals and check if it is working properly.

NOTE: These tests must be performed quickly (within

20 seconds) to prevent the coil from burning out.

2. Check the bottle for cracks and leakages if any.

REFITMENT

1. Align windscreen washer tank to the body and

tighten two mounting bolts.

2. Connect electrical connector.

3. Connect washer tube to washer bottle.

4. Fit front bumper.
