REMOVAL & REFITMENT OF WIPER MOTOR

REMOVAL

1. Remove the wiper arm and blade assembly

2. Remove the cover.

3. Pull the wiper linkage (connecting wiper motor and

wiper arm assembly) up (in the arrow direction).

4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Remove the leaf screen.

6. Remove three screws securing wiper motor

assembly with bracket to the body and take out

wiper motor assembly with bracket.

INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.

2. Connect battery positive voltage to windshield

wiper motor terminal Aor B, and ground to terminal

D, then verify that the windshield wipers operate

as shown in the table.

If the windshield wipers do not operate as indicated

in the table, replace the windshield wiper motor.

Operation condition

REFITMENT

1. Fit wiper motor assembly with bracket and tighten

the mounting screws.

2. Connect electrical connector.

3. Engage the wiper arm linkage to wiper motor

assembly.

4. Fit the leaf screen.

5. Fit the cover.

6. Fit the wiper arm & blade assy..
