7. Insert open jaw like tool between housing face and

driveshaft tulip joint and loosen drive shaft from

transaxle end.

CAUTION :

Do not remove driveshaft with the help of screwdriver

as it may cause damage to seal.

8. Pull out drive shaft from transaxle end followed by

wheel end by holding tulip. Do not hold on boots

while removing. This will damage the boot.

CAUTION :

Do not pull the drive shaft as shown.

CAUTION :

(a) Do not bend the driveshaft while pulling. The

bending angle of the tripod joint should be as low

as possible. Over bending the tripod joint could

lead to serious damage such as roller

disassembly or even roller damage.
