Important Information

Always ensure your vehicle has sufficient petrol

in the tank.

In case of fuel mode switching from PETROL to

CNG mode during normal running CNG

indicator lamp turns ON.

DO’s

Always get the vehicle repaired/serviced at the

Authorized TATA Service only.

Never carry out any repair work on your own or

from any other personnel other than from

Authorized TATA Service center.

Check CNG fuel system periodically for

leakages.

Even though the Safety Solenoid valves (on

cylinder & pressure regulator) closes

automatically when you switch off the Ignition, it

is recommended to close the manual service

valves during any service / repair activity on the

vehicle.

Ensure adequate ventilation around the vehicle

during repair works.

Ensure the gas in the gas lines are consumed

by running the engine with closed manual

service valve and following the tester service

for emptying the lines.

Remove / shield the CNG tanks during the

Welding / brazing work on the Vehicle.

Get repaired / replaced in case of any damaged

fuel system component.

Use dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher in

case of unlikely event of fire.

Don’ts:

Over filling the CNG Tank can cause safety

issues. Please DON'T over fill the tank beyond

its effective capacity (16 liters of water capacity

for each cylinder.).

Don’t park the vehicle near any fire sources.

Never use naked flame / fire to check gas

leakages.

Never carryout any welding / brazing on the

CNG cylinder.

Avoid direct contact with CNG, it may cause

frost burns.

Don’t tamper any electrical or mechanical

settings. For any clarifications please contact

the Authorized TATA Service center.
