DISMANTLING CYLINDER HEAD SUB-

ASSEMBLIES

•

Place the cylinder head on a overhaul bench over

a surface plate.

•

Remove the oil pressure switchmounted on cylinder

head by unscrewing the plug.

•

Remove water temperture sensor and thermostat

assembly.

•

Remove cam shaft by unscrewing cam shaft

bearing cap bolts.

•

Takeout all the three cam shaft bearing caps.

•

Takeout the cam shaft alongwith cam shaft oil seal.

•

Smear oil/grease on top surface of tappet.

•

Takeout tappets one by one from respective valves.
