Install Inboard Oil Seal on the seal pressing dolly.
Apply the uniform sealant layer inside the oil seal.
Locate into the Bore & Press fit oil seal with nylon
hammer.
Note:
Use an bond A-676 or 3M sealant.
Note:
Ensure that the distance of the flange face to
Shaft guide face must be 44+ 0.25
Assemble Shaft Assembly In Banjo:
Take the Axle shaft Assembly check the axle shaft
as per the check point mentioned in axle shaft
section.
Insert the axle shaft (splined end) through shaft
guide & push axle shaft in as far as possible while
aligning the brake assembly bolts with banjo
beam flange holes. Engage the splines of axle
shaft in the carrier section & push further.
Install the nut & tighten it manually & torque them
(Torque 75-85NM)
Ensure correct shaft (e.g. LH & RH side shaft)
inserted on correct side
Note:
LH side axle shaft can be identified by Groove
Mark on the spigot face.
Install the break drum as shown in the figure
