Remove Bearing from Bearing Holder
Put the bearing holder on the bottom locator (as
shown), install bearing removal adaptor & press
down the bearing to remove from the bearing
holder.
Note:
Its 700 Kgf to 1500Kgf Force Required to
Fit & to Remove Bearing from Bearing Holder.
Note:
It's recommended not to use bearing once
removed from axle shaft if grease is spilling out
from bearing.
5.2 ASSEMBLY OF AXLE SHAFT ASSEMBLY
Press Bearing Into Bearing Holder
Put the bearing housing on base plate install the
bearing & bearing pressing dolly, Press down the
bearing into bearing housing.
Install Brake Assembly & Press Bearing
Housing on Axle Shaft
Put the brake assembly & install the bearing
housing, Pull up the brake assembly bolt through
bearing housing flange hole & put the nut on it &
tighten it by hand.
Remove the legs of the bearing puller by
removing the nuts & bolts, remove the handle as
well & Install the bearing puller (without legs &
handle) on the axle shaft, now press bearing
down on axle shaft by pressing with help of
Bearing puller (without legs & handle).
Remove the nut from the brake assembly bolts.
Install & Torque Locknut Press Tone Ring
Put the thrust washer & lock washer while aligning
the same in the groove on axle shaft, Install &
tighten locknut manually.
Now put the locknut torturing adaptor & socket as
done while removal & tighten the same with
torque wrench set at 300 N-M Torque. Fig. 5.08
