TANSFER CASE
4.3.2.3 ON VEHICLE REPAIRS
A. TRANSFER CASE
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery negative.
2. Loosen and remove two mounting bolts and
take out the motor protective cover.
3. Disconnect Electrical Connectors at transfer
case end..
4. Remove the front and rear propeller shaft.(
For
removal procedure refer Propeller Shaft
section)
5. Loosen and remove nut
(1)
to disconnect the
Gear shifter assembly mounted on transfer
case.
6. Support the transfer case from below.
7. Loosen and remove the transfer case mounting
bolts
(1-5)
on Gearbox and lower the transfer
case assembly.
