several minutes. The noise should disappear in
3 to 30 mins, in few cases.

In a very rare case if the noise is still heard, the
HLA is stuck in compressed position and has to
be replaced.
NOTE
There is no danger of damage to other components
if engine is run for few minutes on no load condition.
E. PISTON COOLING NOZZLE
Piston cooling nozzle is fitted on the block such that
the oil sprayed from it hits the under side of the pis-
ton crown. This is very essential to cool the piston
crown temperature.
Refer Cylinder Block dismantling and Assembly in
this section for removal and fitment instructions.
I. OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
An Oil pressure switch is used as a safety device to
indicate loss in oil pressure.
In a vehicle when the ignition is switched ON the oil
pressure warning light is illuminated because the
engine is not running and hence no oil pressure is
generated.
When the engine is running, pressure is built up in
the engine and the oil pressure warning light goes
off.
If the oil pressure is not as per the specified value,
the oil pressure light in the Instrument Cluster glows.
The most common reason for low oil pressure is loss
of oil.
