FLOOR CONSOLE

REMOVAL

NOTE

For ease of removal and fitment the hand brake

cable can be loosened from the rear end. (For the

hand brake adjustment, refer Brake section.)

1. Pry out gear shifter bezel to access the gear

shifter knob lock nut.

2. Disconnect electrical connections for cigar

lighter and transfer case selector switch

3. Loosen and remove lock nut of gear shifter

knob and take out the bezel with bellow and

shifter knob

4. Pry out the parking brake bezel with gap hider

bellow, and keep it along with hand brake lever.

5. Pry out the upper cover from floor console.

6. Pry out floor console rear assembly and

disconnect the electrical connections of power

socket.

7. Loosen and remove mounting bolts of floor

console assembly

(5 Nos).

and take out the

assembly
