P0520 – 67: Oil pressure switch - signal incorrect after event DTC Description as per ISO standard Too low viscosity – Low fluid level ECU Pin Number A50 Customer Symptom - Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Cruise control off Torque limited, Particulate filter lamp On DPF Regeneration off Lamp Status (If Any) - Fault Detection Condition (Root cause) Ignition ON and Engine ON Normal Operating Condition No Fault Code Probable Trouble Area Engine oil pressure switch short circuit to ground or open circuit. Oil pressure switch EMS ECU Healing Condition Repair the (A50) Engine Oil Pressure Switch Signal circuit for an open or short to ground. Component Details: Engine oil level measured using oil pressure switch. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check whether the customer voice / view about the issue is matching with the fault effects mentioned above. If Yes, go ahead with next steps. If not, check for other DTC’s presence. 2. Check whether similar complaints are earlier reported. If yes, perform the preliminary checks with respect to Earlier issue closure. 3. Check for any other faults presence related to ECU Internal power supplies; Follow rectification process for those faults, before proceeding further. 4. Check the engine oil pressure switch continuity.
