Activate ESS switch input and deactivate it. 2. Clear the DTC from memory Is DTC P1E00 - 23 present? YES NO Check DTC present is Permanent or Historic YES NO Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM / ESS switch connectors for terminal backout Are connectors loose?
