Fault Effects (On Vehicle) User will not be able to operate ESS function Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM; if signal stuck low condition is detected for ESS switch. Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON, engine shall start/stop when ESS switch pressed. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. ESS switch input wire Short to ground. 3.
