TRANSMISSION 56 Selector Shaft & Lip Seal installing procedure : 1. Prior fitting the new lip seal, ensure no debris in the main case hole. 2. Insert the new manual shaft lip seal on tool (Part No: 287058902613) and press completely in case. 3. Install the new manual shaft and the detent lever. 4. Install the new manual shaft pin in the case using a set hammer. 5. Align detent lever pin hole and selector shaft pin hole and install the new detent lever pin with a set hammer. Output Shaft 4x4 ‘O-ring Seal Removing & Installing Procedure: 1. Remove the transmission. See Transmission Removing Procedure. 2. Remove the O-ring seal with a screwdriver. 3. Discard the seal. 4. Drip the new Seal in transmission fluid. 5. Install it on the output shaft.
