Check Point

Remove the 12V LV battery negative terminal.

After a minute connect the 12V LV battery

negative terminal & "Ignition Switch" to ON

position.

Crank and wait for 2 minutes.

Check for the fault code.

Fault code

P130031 is

present?

Go to step 2

Repair complete.

Check for DC DC converter HV fuse (20A)

Is the fuse

blown?

Replace the fuse

Go to step 3

Go to step 3

Remove PDU side DC DC converter HV

connector and check for isolation between

positive, body & negative, body.

Is isolation

resistance

>500M ohms?

Replace DCDC

Converter

Go to step 4

Connect the PDU connector & remove DC DC

converter HV input connector and check for

isolation between positive, body & negative,

body of cable

Is isolation

resistance

>500M ohms?

Go to step 5

Replace the HV cables.

Connect the PDU connector & remove DC DC

converter HV input connector and check for

isolation between positive, body & negative,

body of DC DC

Is isolation

resistance

>500M ohms?

Repair complete

Go to step 1

Replace DCDC

DTC’s confirmation:-

After rectification, ensure the following points by referring DCDC parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to

customer.

a) DCDC converter charging LV battery in the range of 8V to 16V
