Customer Symptom

NA

Fault Effect (On Vehicle)

DCDC Converter is not charging LV battery. Vehicle stops when LV

battery is completely drained

Lamp Status (If Any)

NA

DTC Detection Condition

This DTC gets logged if the output current of DC DC Converter is greater

than 235A

Normal Operating Condition

The output current of DC DC Converter is less than 235A

Probable Trouble Area

1. Sensor Faults

2. DCDC output short circuit

Healing Condition

Ignition OFF wait till VCU sleeps & Ignition ON

Write up for

the

related

system:-

HV DCDC Converter converts DC high voltage to low voltage to charge 12V battery. The conversion starts with wakeup and

enable signal to DCDC converter from VCU.

Pre-CheckPoints:

a) Check DCDC Converter output Connection (positive and ground) for damage (connectors, terminals bending &

oxidation)

b) Check for insulation resistance at the output of DCDC Converter (should be >500M ohms)

c) Check for design intended LV battery
