4. Lever to be pulled completely, MSD is dislodged from the connector. Now it can be removed with

hand.

Additional Instructions:

MSD does not require substantial force to be removed from the battery. Hence, the lever should

not be pulled out by force and the 4 step procedure has to be adhered to.

In case of dirt accumulation on the lever, MSD’s pivot can be sprayed on with water to loosen the

lever.

MSDs are not interchangeable and the MSD of a battery pack has to be retained with the same

pack throughout the pack’s usage. Only in case of failure of the MSD should it be replaced with a

new MSD.
