SUSPENSION

2

Front suspension Subframe

with high structural rigidity transmits forces from suspension into body

suppressing the acoustic excitation of the body structure by the suspension (Improved NVH)

“Rubberized” top mount

for improved filtering of road vibrations and noise at the same time

guaranteeing excellent structural strength favoring driving precision.

Anti-roll bar with Stab link

mounted on the shock absorbers that allow improved stabilizing efficiency

and better dynamic responsiveness around bends.

Double acting telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers

with improved lateral rigidity assisting road

holding during cornering. Valve assemblies have been selected for excellent vibration damping.

Method of attachment to the body shell has also been improved; rubberized anchorage on the

suspension tower improves the noise isolation. There by improving comfort.

REAR SUSPENSION

The rear suspension is Twist/Torsionbeam.

Suspension also called as Torsion beam/ ‘H’-type suspension. The front of the ‘H‘attaches to the body

via rubber bushings, and the rear of the ‘H’ carries each wheel, on each side of the car. The cross beam

of the ‘H’ holds the two trailing arms together, and provides additional roll stiffness due to twisting of the

cross beam; this twisting is caused as the two trailing arms move vertically, relative to each other.

The Twist beam suspension in the vehicle

has greatly enhanced the ride comfort as well as the vehicle

handling as compared to it’s the earlier models.
