5. Remove the door handle switch with wire
harness.
6. Similarly follow the above steps for other door
handle switches on the door.
REFITMENT
For refitment follow the procedure in reverse.
NOTE
1. Ensure that door handle switch connector is
fitted tightly and properly.
2. After replacing the door handle switch, check
vehicle locking/ unlocking state changes by
pressing the replaced door handle switch.
3. The smart key shall be present during door
handle switch press.
4. Connect the Diagnostics tool and clear the
DTCs.
22 TAILGATE HANDLE SWITCH
REMOVAL& INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the Tailgate Handle.
(Refer Tailgate
Handle Removal Procedure in the Body
Section).
3. Disconnect the electrical connection to the
tailgate switch.
4. Remove the clip on the handle.
5. Unscrew the tailagate handle cover with
dedicated screw panel.
