1.4.54 WATER CHANNEL MAINTENANCE
1. Remove Moving Glass Panel & Fixed Glass
Panel.
2. Inspect drain holes on water channel (2-a) and
rear part (2-b), remove the dust and leaves if
present. Use vacuum cleaner if necessary.
3. Re-assemble Moving Glass Panel & Fixed
Glass Panel then close sunroof, inspect gap and
step difference between Moving Glass Panel &
Fixed Glass Panel. Inspect flushness with Body
Roof.
1.4.55 SUNROOF RESET PROCEDURE -
INITIALIZING THE POWER SUNROOF
Please first read and note the introductory
information and attention to WARNINGS!
Condition for initializing the sunroof
If the vehicle battery has been disconnected
during Sunroof / Sunshade Rollo movement and
reconnected or is dead or replace the fuse, the
sunroof/Sunshade Rollo must be initialized.
Otherwise Express (one touch) function
(open/close/tilt) and pinch protection function will
be deactivated.
Initializing command procedure:
To initialize the sliding sunroof and Sunshade
Rollo, use the following procedure.
1. Turn ON the ignition
2. Close the sunroof fully by pressing ‘sunroof
close switch’ and keep the switch pressed for
few seconds after the roof is fully closed, till
clicking sound comes from Sunroof.
3. Close the Rollo shade fully by pressing
‘Sunshade Rollo close switch’ and keep the
switch pressed for few seconds after the Rollo
shade is fully closed, till clicking sound comes
from Rollo shade.
4. Check if the Express open/close features are
working.
NOTE
If the initializing procedure is not completely
performed, then it has to be run again from step 2.
