16.Tight the bracket on front pipe bolt mounted on
engine housing & apply the specified tightening
torque.
17.Tight the pipe in pipe joint clamp nut & apply the
specified tightening torque.
NOTE
Ensure flex bellow should not be pre stress or bend
as shown in below figure & also ensure proper
orientation of rubber hangers
18.Install engine underbody guard.
19.Install Snorkel and Air filter assembly.
20.Install Engine top cover.
21.Connect battery’s negative terminal.
Q. FUEL SYSTEM
1) FUEL TANK
REMOVAL
1. Relieve fuel pressure in fuel feed line.
2. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
3. Remove Tail Exhaust pipe.
(For removal refer
‘Exhaust Pipe’ removal process).
4. Remove the parking brake cable routed on the
tank’s parking brake clamp.
5. Disconnect the fuel filler hose and breather tube
Quick connector from filler pipe assembly.
6. Support the fuel tank from below.
