6. ON VEHICLE PROCEDURE
A. DRIVE SHAFT (LH / RH) REMOVAL
(PETROL VEHICEL)
1. Park vehicle on forepost.
2. Remove splash guard & also remove mud
liner inner front LH side.
3. Remove four mountings & take out tyres on
LH & RH side.
4. Drain the Transaxle oil by removing Drain
Plug.
5. Remove earthing cable from gear box.
6. Remove stub axle ball joint Mounting &
Loosen Lower Control Arm on LH & RH side.
7. Remove driveshaft lock nut LH& RH.
8. Remove ball joint (steering rack) from steering
knuckle from both sides.
9. Remove vertical link mountings on
suspension rod for both RH & LH sides.
