9.12 ON VEHICLE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER

AND COIL SPRING ASSEMBLY:

1.

Refit the shock absorber top mounting

fasteners with new nyloc nut in the luggage

compartment and tighten to 2.5 to 3 kg-m

Torque.

2.

Fit and rotate the top rubber with the coil spring.

3.

Position the spring bottom rubber pad to be

fixed to twist beam in two holes. Spring to be

oriented such that end rest and against the

stopper of bottom rubber pad.

4.

Raise the torsion beam using hydraulic jack so

that the coil spring gets compressed and shock

absorber sits exactly over torsion beam

properly.

5.

Refit the Rear Shock Absorber Bottom Fastener

& apply torque. (As per torque table).

6.

Refit the rear wheels.

7.

Remove the Car from 2 Post Lift.
