Rotate
crankshaft to adjust position of the
pistons and Remove the connecting rod
bearing cap mounting bolts and take out lower
bearing cap.
NOTE
Bolts not to be reused.
5.
Tap
out
piston assemblies from cylinders
housing.
6. Remove main bearing cap mounting bolts in
uniformly order as shown.
NOTE
Bolts not to be reused.
7. Remove the lower main bearing half shell
from crankshaft main bearing journal.
8.
Remove the thrust washers.
9.
Remove the crankshaft from cylinder block.
