Trouble Shooting:

Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

1

Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU

pin 100 & coolant temperature sensor pin 1, ECU pin 99

and Coolant temperature sensor pin 2.

Go to next step

Rectify the wiring

harness

connections as per

the circuit

schematic.

Dis-connect the coolant temperature sensor WH connector

and check the resistance cross the two pins of temperature

sensor at 30 deg C. Is resistance ~= 1680 +/- 60 Ohms.

Go to next step

Replace the

coolant

temperature sensor

Check whether the ECM pins A100 or A99 are either short

circuited to Battery / Ground.

Rectify the wiring

harness connections

s per the schematic

Go to Next Step

Are there any pins backed out from the Coolant

temperature sensor Connector

Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to Next Step

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU

Connector

Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to Next Step

Fault Persists.

Call Hotline

Repeat the above

steps for re-

confirmation

DTC’s confirmation:

After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM.
