Cruise control off, Torque limited, Particulate filter lamp,
Regen off, Engine may not start

Probable Trouble Area
1. Intake air temperature sensor (K76) short to supply
2. EGR position sensor supply (A40) short to supply
3. Turbo boost position sensor supply (A38) short to supply
4. Accelerator pedal signal pin k25,K27 short to supply.
5. EMS ECU
Healing Condition
Clear through diagnostic tool
Ignition OFF & ON
Component Details:
EMS ECU has two Internal 5 Volts power supplies. Power Supply 1 will provide input voltage to a group of sensors –
A. and Power Supply 2 will give input voltage to another group of Sensors-B..
Preliminary Checks:
1. Check whether the customer voice / view about the issue is matching with the fault effects mentioned above. If
yes, go ahead with next steps. If not, check for other DTC’s presence.
2.
Check whether similar complaints are earlier reported. If yes, perform the preliminary checks with respect to
earlier issue closure.
3. Check the connection of sensors powered by sensor supply Voltage 1. Follow sensor supply voltage1 check
/rectification process.
4. Check sensor connections for rust dirt etc; Follow rectification process of concerned sensor if faulty.
5. Check with diagnostic tool if the sensor supply voltage lies in between 4.75 V to 5.35 V.
6. Check ECU; Replace ECU, if problem still persists.
